Overview
The Secure Charging workflow allows authorized users to store and charge a device in a locker bay that is secured against other users’ access. This article covers the steps a user follows at the FUYL Kiosk to deposit a device and to collect it again.
The button labels shown below are the FUYL defaults. Administrators can rename them to suit their organization, so the labels on a Kiosk may differ from those used here.
Depositing a device
- Users log into the FUYL Kiosk and select “Charging”
- The user selects "Charge a device"
- If authorized, an appropriate bay will open, the device is placed inside and connected to be charged.
- The bay is closed, and secured against other users’ access.
Collecting a device
- Users log into the FUYL Kiosk and select “Charging”
- The user selects "Collect a device"
- If a Secure Charging bay is assigned to the user, that bay will open to allow collection.
- The bay is closed, and is now available for use by the next authorized user.
