The Secure Charging workflow allows authorised users to store and charge a device in a locker bay that is secured against other users’ access. This article covers the steps a user follows at the FUYL Kiosk to deposit a device and to collect it again.

The button labels shown below are the defaults. Administrators can rename them to suit their organisation, so the labels on a Kiosk may differ from those used here.

Depositing a device

1. Select “Charging” The user selects “Charging”, then “Charge a device”, on the FUYL Kiosk.
2. Authenticate The user signs in.
3. Place the device If authorised, a bay opens. The user places the device inside and connects it to charge.
4. Close the bay The bay is secured against other users’ access.

Collecting a device

1. Select “Charging” The user selects “Charging”, then “Collect a device”.
2. Authenticate The user signs in.
3. Collect the device The user’s Secure Charging bay opens.
4. Close the bay It’s now available to the next authorised user.
