Accessing Bays as an Administrator

Overview

In some cases, an administrator may require access to a bay in a FUYL Smart Locker, with or without affecting the workflow in progress.

If there is no power to the FUYL Locker, or either the FUYL Smart Locker or FUYL Kiosk cannot connect to the cloud, follow the manual override process.

Unlock a bay from the FUYL Kiosk

Applies to the FUYL 23, 15, 8 or 5.

1. Open Settings Tap the cog icon at the bottom right of the FUYL Kiosk and authenticate.
2. View the tower Select View tower.
3. Unlock the bay Find the bay to open and select Unlock bay to its right.

This does not alter the state of any workflow (eg charging session) in progress unless prompted. See the workflow-specific documentation for more management options.

Manual override

If the FUYL Smart Locker has no power, or its digital controls are otherwise inaccessible, bays can be opened with the manual release pin. Identify your locker model first.

FUYL 23 or FUYL 8

1. Open the side access door Unlock it with the provided security key.
2. Find the bay's lock module Each bay has its own lock module with a manual release pin.
3. Press the release pin The bay opens.

FUYL Tower or FUYL Tower Pro (MK2 & MK3)

1. Open the side access door Unlock it with the provided security key.
2. Find the bay's lock module Each bay has its own lock module with a manual release pin.
3. Press the release pin The bay opens.
