The Device Deployment workflow allows authorized users to collect a device that has been made available to them, without an administrator needing to be present. This article covers the steps a user follows at the FUYL Kiosk to collect a deployed device.

The button labels shown below are the defaults. Administrators can rename them to suit their organization, so the labels on a Kiosk may differ from those used here.

The user flow is identical for both Self-Service and Admin-Initiated deployments.

1. Select "New device" The user selects "New device" on the FUYL Kiosk.
2. Authenticate The user signs in.
3. Collect the device If authorized, a bay opens. Devices that have waited longest are given out first, to keep stock rotating.
4. Close the bay Device and deployment statuses update, and any configured notifications are sent.
