Overview
In some cases, an administrator may require access to a bay in a FUYL Smart Locker, with or without affecting the workflow in progress.
If there is no power to the FUYL Locker, follow the manual override process.
Unlock a bay from the locker
Applies to the FUYL 15 or 5 on Classic (Essentials & Advanced) or Standalone. You'll need an administrator's PIN; see Manage Admin Users.
- Sign in at the locker On the locker's own interface, enter "00", then "OK", followed by an administrator's PIN. An un-enrolled locker's default PIN is 31082018; once enrolled, each admin uses their own PIN.
- Open Bay access Select Bay access.
- Choose Unlock bay Select Unlock bay.
- Enter the bay number Enter the number of the bay to open, followed by "OK".
This does not alter the state of any workflow (reservation or status). To clear credentials (make available) or toggle a bay's offline status, return to the Bay access menu.
Manual override
If the FUYL Smart Locker has no power, or its digital controls are otherwise inaccessible, bays can be opened with the manual release pin. Identify your locker model first.
FUYL Tower or FUYL Tower Pro (MK2 & MK3)
- Open the side access door Unlock it with the provided security key.
-
Find the bay's lock module Each bay has its own lock module with a manual release pin.
- Press the release pin The bay opens.
Note: This bay (if the Tower is online) may register a "Breach" event and may become inaccessible to users. To regain functionality, an administrator can "Toggle bay offline" in the locker's Bay access menu, or from the FUYL Portal.
